By playing Striphe's Daily Stock Game ("the game"), run by Striphe's Stock Game ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not play.
The game is an entertainment simulation. All prices, companies, news stories, earnings, dividends and events are invented by a computer model and do not describe real markets or real companies. Nothing in the game is investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Results in the game say nothing about how real trading would turn out. Company names and tickers are used only to make the simulation familiar and do not imply any connection with those companies.
All cash in the game is pretend. You cannot deposit, withdraw, buy, sell or exchange real money, securities or cryptocurrency through the game.
We may remove names, messages or scores, mute or block players, or reset results at any time, with or without notice, to keep the game fair and friendly.
From time to time we may announce a prize for top leaderboard results. Any prize is offered at our discretion, is described on the game's leaderboard, may be changed or cancelled at any time, and is void where prohibited. No purchase or donation is needed to enter or to win, and donating does not improve your chances. Winners are decided by the leaderboard as recorded by the game server, and our decisions are final. We may ask a winner to confirm they followed these terms before awarding a prize.
If a donate or support button is shown, donations are completely optional, are processed by a third-party service we do not control, and are generally non-refundable. Donating may unlock a cosmetic supporter badge (⭐). It does not change prices, trades, scores or rankings. Donations are not tax-deductible and do not buy any ownership of the game.
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be slow, change, pause, lose data or stop at any time. We do not promise it will be error-free or always online, and we may change the rules, the market model, the settings or the leaderboard schedule at any time.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the game, including decisions you make in real life based on anything you see here. Because the game is free and for fun, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the past 12 months.
